The ozone concentration during the ozonation process should be at least 2 ppm for longer treatments and up to 5-7 ppm for quick ozonation. Higher concentrations do not improve the effectiveness, and the time of exposure is equally important.

How long does ozonation take?

The exact duration depends on the size of the room and the number of machines or objects present. After the process is complete, the room should be ventilated for about an hour to reduce the ozone concentration to a safe level.For a 200 m³ room, the ozonation time is approximately 40 minutes.For a 600 m³ room, it takes around 2 hours.

How long after ozonation can I return to the room?

After ozonation, the room must be thoroughly ventilated. It is safe to re-enter the room after one hour.

Does ozonation affect electronics and machines?

Ozonation does not negatively affect electronic devices such as computers, refrigerators, etc.

Should animals and plants be removed from the room?

Yes, ozone in high concentrations is harmful to plants and animals.

Is any chemical used during ozonation?

No, ozone is naturally generated without the use of chemicals.

Does ozonation remove unpleasant odors?

Yes, ozonation effectively neutralizes unpleasant odors. However, to achieve long-lasting freshness, the source of the odor must be removed. For example, if moisture in a bathroom causes persistent odors, the source of moisture must also be addressed for ozonation to be effective.

How often can ozonation be done?

Ozonation can be performed several times a week. For private use, such as in homes, ozonation is recommended once a year.

Will I receive a certificate after ozonation?

Yes, you will receive a certificate confirming the ozonation service, including the technology used, the highest ozone concentration achieved, and the date of the service. If you need a certificate, please inform us before the service.

What are the benefits of ozonation?

Ozone neutralizes not only viruses but also bacteria, fungi, mold, and spores. It leaves a refreshing feeling (similar to after a storm), eliminates odors, and is beneficial for allergy sufferers by killing microorganisms, allergens, and dust mites.

What does the ozonation process involve?

The ozonation process consists of 6 basic steps:

• Preparing the room: removing plants, animals, and sealing the room.
• Setting up the ozonation equipment and turning it on.
• Monitoring the ozone concentration.
• Turning off the equipment and waiting about 30 minutes for the ozone to break down.
• Measuring the ozone level in the air.
• Ventilating the room until the ozone level is safe for humans.

How does the ozonation service look?

In the room, we set up specialized ozone generators that create ozone from the surrounding air. Electrical discharges in the generator simulate a storm, allowing ozone (O₃) to be produced. For large rooms, we use fans to distribute the gas throughout the room.

Is ozonation safe?

Yes, ozone is a natural component of the air. However, it’s important not to enter the room during ozonation without proper respiratory protection, as exposure can cause long-term health issues.

What equipment do you use for ozonation?

For ozonation, we use high-quality equipment from the Polish manufacturer O3ozon and necessary health protection tools as well as ozone measuring devices.
