The party just ended, there was plenty of fun, and many candles were lit. Unfortunately, one of them landed on your carpet, leaving a large wax stain, and removing it seems impossible. What should you do in such a situation? Follow these simple steps to resolve the issue:
Place a Damp, WHITE Towel Over the Wax Stain: Make sure the towel is completely white, as colored towels may transfer dye to the carpet.
Set Your Iron to the Highest Temperature: After the iron has heated up, place it gently on the damp towel that is covering the wax stain. Ensure the towel is lying directly on top of the stain.
Wait for 10 Seconds: Let the iron sit for about 10 seconds. The heat will cause the wax to melt and transfer onto the towel.
Scrape Off the Wax: Once the wax has softened, remove the towel and use a spatula or a sharp tool to gently scrape off the melted wax from the carpet.
Repeat as Necessary: Repeat these steps until the stain is completely removed.
Important Tip: Check each time to ensure the towel remains damp. If it dries out, moisten it again to continue the process.
